My name is Sami Lashari. I did M. Phil from QAU in 2007. I am Lecturer in a public sector University in Lahore. I am planning for further studies also. My family lives in Slarwahin Kohna - a town on Bosan Road about 20 kilometers away from Multan City. We are Lashari Baloch, and belong originally from Taunsa, Dera Ghazi Khan. Belonging to a middle-level working class family with a moderate religious background, we live in a joint-family setup with a certain level of individual autonomy (particularly as the head of family). We are Seraiki speaking very simple living people and look towards life in a realistic manner with top preference to higher education and family. All other things come after tese preferences. I believe in straight forwardness and look for a suitable one. To me, marriage is sacred relation that needs compromises to go ahead. To be successful, it needs truth, trust, passion to sacrifice, and interdependence. I do not have any idealistic approach about this dimension of life as such. We are self-made middle class family with religion and culture as the most important ingredients. We believe that we can live, laugh, and cry only together. Infact we are a well-knitted family with a joint-family set-up and ready to sacrifice everything and anything whatever we have. .

My life partner should be qualified, simple, very very caring and accomodative. My top preference would be a girl with Masters or higher qualification, or a medical/engineering professional who aspires for further growth of qualification and/or career. Again, I would be delighted if she belongs to a working class simple family. She should be possessing all necessary qualifications and attitudes required to upbring a middle class family. She should be accomodating and should not insist on nuclear family setup. Respect of parents and possessing the feeling of sacrifices is very necessary.
